About the Campaign

Keiser University and our event co-chairs, Yvonne Boice and Tom DeRita, are pleased to announce that we are launching a campaign to build an aquatic center on the Flagship Residential Campus in West Palm Beach, Florida. Maintaining our commitment to children, students, and families, the aquatic center will serve as a community resource as Keiser University fully embraces our pledge to make Every Child a Swimmer. With the wellbeing of our community in mind, we ask that you join us in this critical initiative to offer water safety opportunities to children while also providing the Keiser University NAIA National Championship swimming teams the opportunity to achieve the highest level of talent and service for which they aspire.

The opportunity to use this facility to provide swimming lessons to the community is of particular importance to us. We recently helped the International Swim Hall of Fame pass a bill in Florida which requires public schools to provide kindergarten students with information about learn-to-swim programs. This small step will help save the lives of Florida’s children and help us remain steadfast to our goal of helping children learn the life-long and life-saving skill of swimming.

The aquatic center will feature an Olympic-sized swimming pool which will be used to host regional, national, and international competitions. As one of the few Olympic-sized pools in the area, it will provide an opportunity for Keiser University student-athletes to enjoy success both on the field and in the classroom, helping them become well-educated leaders of tomorrow and perhaps future Olympians.

As leaders in education and talent development for nearly 50 years, we fully embrace the ongoing mission to better the lives of children, families, and students and would be honored if you would join us at this event. With your help, our vision will become a reality and this aquatic center will serve as an epicenter for healthy competition and a shared effort to ensure the future of Florida’s children remains bright.
